Cristi graduated with Honors from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a minor in Spanish. Cristi loves to sing and was a member of the Iowa State University Choir. After graduation she began working in the financial services industry. In 2016, Cristi obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. She also has extensive background in the life insurance industry and serves as a resource for the Gilbert & Cook team. As a Relationship Manager, Cristi focuses on developing genuine, long-term relationships with clients.

After being diagnosed with colon cancer in 2019, Cristi realized the importance of early cancer detection. She became and advocate for colon cancer screenings and volunteers with the Colon Cancer Foundation of Iowa.

Cristi grew up in West Des Moines singing in Valley Highschool’s Choir and Show Choir. When she’s not cheering on the Cyclones, Cristi is at trivia with her friends or spending quality time with her three nieces. Cristi has an extensive book collection and always has a new reading recommendation.
