As Human Resource and Talent Management, Debbie works with the experienced team of professionals at Gilbert and Cook to coordinate Human Resources policies and programs as well as recruiting new talent and aligning performance management and employee development programs with the ongoing strategy of the business.

Debbie joined Gilbert & Cook in May 2022. Prior to joining the Gilbert and Cook team, Debbie worked in Retail Management for 12 years. Debbie earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa in 2009 and obtained her SHRM-CP Certification in 2022. Her passion in work is building professional relationships and training and developing employees.

Debbie and her husband, Erez, grew up in West Des Moines. They currently reside in Des Moines with their two children, Mina & Harvey. Together, they enjoy international travel, exploring Des Moines including the downtown farmers market, being active outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
