Being a small part of those stories and helping facilitate those memories is what I enjoy most.”

Jarret joined the Gilbert & Cook team in November 2019.  In his role as Advisor, Jarret helps clients and families achieve their goals. He values the process of helping clients transition from saving and working all those years to retirement and living their life of abundance. Working with clients to show them what all their hard work, investing, and making smart choices has led to and made possible for them as they transition into retirement.

After graduating from Coe College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration, Jarret joined the financial services industry and obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2018. Prior to Gilbert & Cook, Jarret was a Financial Advisor in the Des Moines Area. Active in his community, Jarret is a current board member of Financial Planning Association of Iowa.

Jarret, his wife Jessica and their daughters Sophie and Adeline live in Clive. Outside the office, Jarret enjoys spending time with family, cycling throughout central Iowa, traveling and hiking, checking out local breweries, and cooking something new.
