As a Relationship Manager at Gilbert & Cook, Lauren is driven by a desire to make a positive impact for clients, aiming to enhance their over-all experience and build long-term relationships.
Her passion for finance stemmed from a financial literacy class in high school, prompting her to teach herself about personal finance and develop an interest in behavioral finance. To further pursue this passion, she attended Simpson College and graduated in 2024.
Lauren is also a Sergeant in the Iowa Army National Guard, and works as a Chinook Helicopter Mechanic (CH-47). She joined the military because she always felt a calling to serve others and believed the Iowa Army National Guard would help fulfill this purpose.
Lauren and her husband, Lucas, grew up in Grimes, Iowa, and relocated to Indianola for school. They have one fur-baby named Bear, a black Labrador whom they rescued during the pandemic. Both Lauren and Lucas are avid animal lovers and spend as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors. When she’s not out on a hike, Lauren is busy crocheting various items such as clothing and baby blankets.
