As both a Partner and Advisor, Megan is deeply committed to understanding and addressing the unique needs of each client. She’s passionate about helping people navigate life’s more complicated financial situations and find clarity amidst uncertainty.
After graduating from the University of Iowa, Megan’s family life brought her to Des Moines. Megan joined Gilbert & Cook in 2006, starting her journey as a Relationship Manager. Over the years, she transitioned into a planning role in 2010, became an Advisor in 2016, and was named Partner in 2018, building strong relationships along the way. Megan holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA™), Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®), Accredited Domestic Partner Advisor (ADPA®), and Long Term Care Professional (LTCP). Megan became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner in 2013.
As an active member of the Des Moines Estate Planners and a former President of the Financial Planning Association’s (FPA) Iowa Chapter, Megan is constantly seeking new ways to grow and learn. She attends national conferences and educational events, helping to ensure she remains at the forefront of financial planning strategies. In 2024, Megan was honored to be ranked #65 in AdvisorHub’s list of Advisors To Watch, in the Over $1 Billion Category.
Megan also serves on Gilbert & Cook’s Leadership Committee, where she collaborates with colleagues to shape the future of the firm, always striving for the best outcomes for both clients and the company.
Outside of her professional life, Megan and her husband Chad enjoy life in West Des Moines, where they raise their two children, William and Stella. The Rosenstiel family is passionate about supporting Healthy Birth Day Inc., and their program Count the Kicks, which they credit with saving their son William’s life. Megan served as the Chairwoman for Count the Kicks, 2024 Changemakers Luncheon, an event dedicated to raising funds and awareness for stillbirth prevention. Megan’s household is always full of activity, from baseball and football to gymnastics and basketball. Megan and Chad are also dedicated to their community, and they take great pride in supporting local arts initiatives. They have been season ticket holders for the Des Moines Civic Center for a decade.
