Summary
We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join a well-established, growing, and ensemble-based, private wealth management firm in West Des Moines, Iowa. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in client service, complex problem solving, communication, and relationship building. The Relationship Manager position must combine their expertise in problem solving and communication with the ability to be detailed, organized, and motivated in their work. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
5 years of proven experience in the financial services realm (financial adviser, planner, specialist, accountant, or related experience)
Capability and desire to demonstrate the Gilbert & Cook Core Values
Confidence to provide enhanced communication with clients and strategic partners
Strong time management and organizational skills – ability to handle multiple responsibilities and take initiative in a high-volume work environment
Accuracy, attention to detail, and timely delivery
Ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
Ability to think critically through complex client situations
Excellent PC knowledge and ability to operate database systems
Long-term desire to service clients in the Wealth Management industry
Effectively manage and prioritize a substantial number of clients
Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, CFP certification or interest in obtaining certification
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Advisor with high-level strategy in relation to client situations
Deliver service to clients through meeting material preparation, meeting attendance, post-meeting action item execution and day-to-day administration
Enhance client experience by building and maintaining strong client relationships
Actively participate in a collaborative team designed to serve the client
Think strategically about client situations to identify possible issues and opportunities
Prepare and execute administrative responsibilities and organization of files and paperwork for client meetings, including implementation follow-up
Participate in client meetings and responsible for documentation of decisions and action item assignments
Provide support to Financial Planning team through process completion, and review and maintenance of client deliverables
Ability to review and interpret client legal documentation
Communicate with clients for administrative inquiries and needs as they arise
Accurate and efficient processing of client account transactions
Investment account and insurance paperwork preparation including follow-up and confirmation of implementation
Training of team members on firm processes and procedures and also acting as a subject matter expert in a specific area
Ability to lead a team through various and multiple projects
Comply with all industry rules and regulations
Provide a holistic approach to client management
Proactively helps to resolve issues or concerns
